I loved the story and want to hear more from these ladies!
Short and sweet. Okay, maybe not sweet. Let's not get any ideas, girls. *evil grin goes here*
I’m not usually a fan of first person, but JD Faver does it remarkably well. She has written another fast paced story drawing the reader into the pages where murder is contemplated. The plot is different and compelling. A short, intriguing read.
I love it! I'm not typically a fan of first person stories, but this one really works. I love that it's just the right length so that I can enjoy it in one evening! The story is written in a way that keeps you guessing.
This was a fun story, reminiscent of Strangers on a Train, but without the strangers. Or the train. Plus a book club. I thought the concept was funny, the writing was good, and for such a short story the characters were well defined. I think it would make a great book if Faver ever decides to elaborate on the story. The only issue I had was how little the detectives looked at the connection between the women.
Julie Hoverson does a great job narrating. There isn't a lot of material so it's hard to say how extensive her range is, but her comedic timing was good and her characters were distinct.

I highly recommend this book - the story itself was very entertaining and J.D. Faver's writing style made it even more fun to read.
A fun, fast read, Girl's Night has it all. Smart women, humor and suspense. Unputdownable!
